Mono-component Pastes from SP-High Modulus
SP-High Modulus's mono-component pastes are pre-catalysed adhesive/filler systems that can be used in conjunction with SP-High Modulus prepegs and SPRINT®. They are used as in-situ fillers to bridge corners or tight radii and can also be used as core splicing adhesives. Being a pre-catalysed system, they require freezer storage for long-term stock holding. Outlife at 20°C is about 20 days.
SP 4832 Mono-component Epoxy System
SP 4832 is a highly thixotropic, gap filling paste. It is a single component epoxy system designed to co-cure at moderate elevated temperature with SP-High Modulus’s SE prepregs. The product is designed to be either applied between gel coat and prepreg in sharp recesses in order to bridge any large gaps between the two, or used as a highly effective low density core splicing adhesive. The colour is a very dark grey, to tone in with carbon prepregs.
