Gurit to exhibit at Composites 2012, USA
14 February 2012, Isle of Wight, UK – Gurit, a leading global supplier of composite materials, engineering and technical solutions to the wind energy, transportation, tooling, marine and engineered structures markets, which includes ocean energy, architectural structures and other application areas, will be exhibiting at Composites 2012, from 21st to 23rd February 2012, in Las Vegas, USA.
Exhibiting on Stand 852, Gurit will be showcasing its extended core range for the wind energy and marine markets. The range comprises Corecell™, PVCell™ G-Foam, G-PET and Balsaflex®, all with a distinct range of properties and attributes and all available in sheet form or as tailored pieces in kit format. Alongside the extended core offering SP-High Modulus, the marine business of Gurit will be promoting its range of prepreg materials including SPRINT® and the marine construction solution B³ SmartPac.

PRODUCT INFORMATION
Corecell™
Corecell™ is a structural foam core using a SAN polymer base. It is one of the leading structural foam core materials and has become widely accepted for the construction of large, high performance structures. The Corecell™ product range is suitable for a wide range of demanding structural applications and different composite manufacturing processes, Corecell™ is fully compatible with polyester, vinylester, and epoxy resins, as well as all commonly used epoxy prepreg systems.
PVCell™ G-Foam
PVCell™ G-Foam is a closed cell, cross-linked PVC foam. As a general purpose core material, commonly used in composite sandwich structures, it provides a superior strength to weight ratio for all composite applications.
G-PET
G-PET is a recyclable structural foam that is compatible with a range of resin systems. It is a highly adaptable thermoplastic foam with a good balance of mechanical properties, temperature resistance, density and cost. It is suitable for a wide range of applications and production processes.
Balsaflex®
Balsaflex® is a high quality end grain balsa core material offering the highest strength and stiffness to weight ratio of typical structural core materials. Balsaflex® is available coated and uncoated panels with a full range of finishing formats.
