Wind Blade Mould Technology:

• The Mould can be produced either with or without gelcoat, depending on customer requirements. 
• Epoxy resin with Tg of 90C, 110C, 130C or 160C can be used, or alternatively vinylester. 
• The Mould main shell can be produced by infusion or hand lamination, dependant on the customer’s requirements. 
• The Mould can be strengthened by sandwich concept, balsa or honeycomb as a customer’s option. 
• The Mould can be heated electrically or by air depending upon customer requirements.
• Mould Heating is computer controlled with monitoring software.
• Mould frame is designed using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software.
• Extra strong support of the mould shell, for long life and stable support of the shell.
• Optional exclusive patented mould shape adjustment system.
• Optional fully automatic mould alignment and clamping system.

• Total factory area of 8500m2. 
• Air conditioned and heated CNC plug production facility.
• In-house laser tracking team, including laser tracker and 3 trained operators.
• In-house quality lab, with:
  o Mechanical tester, including creep and fatigue
  o DSC machine
  o Delamination tester
  o Rheometer
  o Resin content burnoff furnace
  o Thermal cycling oven

Red Maple has the manpower for large production volumes and the capability and flexibility to respond to quick turn around requirements and rushed orders.
