MARINE PREPREG DATASHEETS

Prepreg Materials

  • SE 70 - Low Temp Cure/High Toughness (v5)
SE 70 is a hot-melt, low temperature cure, epoxy prepreg system. It has been developed for use in the construction of large components using low energy cure cycles. Excellent properties can be achieved with a processing temperature of just 70°C.
  • SE 84 Nano - High Performance Prepreg (v1)
SE 84 Nano is a high performance hot-melt epoxy prepreg. When vacuum bag moulded SE 84 Nano exhibits a 20% increase in compressive strength compared to SE 84LV
  • SE 84LV - Low Temp Epoxy Prepreg System (v12)
Low Temperature Cure Epoxy Prepreg System, Versatile, high-strength prepreg system, Curable at temperatures as low as 80°C, Can be processed with vacuum-only processing, Excellent tack, Low viscosity - Ideal for use with heavy fibre weights can be used for faster moulding of components at 120°C.
  • SE 85 - Epoxy Prepreg System (v9)
The SE 85 series are toughened hot-melt, epoxy prepregs that offers an extremely good balance of mechanical properties. They are ideal for structural components where improved impact performance and resistance to resin microcracking is desired.
  • SE 85GT - Epoxy Prepreg System (v2)
The SE 85GT series are highly toughened hot-melt, epoxy prepregs that offer an extremely good balance of mechanical properties.

Mono-Component Pastes

  • SP 4202 - Mono-component Epoxy System (v4)
SP 4202 is a single component epoxy system designed to co-cure at moderate elevated temperature with SP’s SE prepregs. The product is designed to be applied between gel coat and prepreg, and will bridge any large gaps between the two.
  • SP 4832 - Mono-component Epoxy System (v2)
SP 4832 is a highly thixotropic, gap filling paste. It is a single component epoxy system designed to co-cure at moderate elevated temperature with SE prepregs.

Adhesive Films

  • SA 70 - Epoxy Adhesive System (v4)
SA 70 adhesive film is a toughened epoxy film on a glass carrier with excellent tack and drape characteristics. It offers many advantages over traditional wet lay-up techniques for bonding of composite skins to cores.
  • SA 80 - Toughened Epoxy Adhesive Film (v9)
SA 80 adhesive film is a toughened epoxy film on a glass carrier with excellent tack and drape characteristics. It offers many advantages over traditional wet lay-up techniques for bonding of composite skins to cores.
