Spacecraft Structures from Gurit
Gurit structural prepregs are applied in the Atlas and Ariane-V payload fairing; the later is a 5.4m diameter and a (up to 22m long) carbon composite structure at the top of the rocket to protect the sensitive and high-cost satellite cargo during the launch.
