In 2009 Gurit acquired Chinese wind blade mould manufacturer Suzhou Red Maple, now known as Red Maple, the tooling business of Gurit, as well as a majority stake in the Chinese structural foam company, China Techno Foam Co., Ltd. in Qingdao.
